Valentine’s/Library Lover’s Day
Whether your heart is so overflowing with love that you are able to share it with a partner or your bibliophilia confines your passion solely to your local Library, the 14th of February is a time to celebrate a love of reading, Library services and your favourite Librarian (or your partner at a stretch)!
This does not have to necessarily be a time for romance if murder & mayhem is what kick starts your heart or if science fiction and flights of fantasy is where your passion lies. Whatever your taste, the Library was made for lovin’ you!
From desire to ignite the dreary moors of England, through explorations of future love between humans & robots to flat out scorching erotica, most Libraries can cover the gamut of romantic experience beyond your wildest dreams.
For some people the chase is better than the catch and your shot of love may be the old school experience of browsing the shelves to find your perfect match. A search on the library catalogue could lead to an experience more fulfilling, and certainly less messy, than a search on Tinder…
Where do we go now, sweet child o’ mine? As love is only a feeling, stop dragging your heart around and head to the Library, of course!!!
